shibusen was founded by the shinigami to ensure the world wouldn't fall into catastrophe, or into despair by the wicked and sinful. but sometimes it just isn't good enough, is it? there will always arise new challengers to claim to become demon gods, and more witches will plague the land with their magic to put a test to the authority that the shinigami has. that is why they are trained. the people of death city, nevada. the students who wield their weapons to defend their beliefs, their truths. can you blame them?

but not only are they correct.

shibusen is clouded by mystery and a inconceivable past. deceit and treachery leads to hatred and anguish, the flames that fuel ambition of conquest. blood splatters make my carpet look red, but the maroon fibers makes it look dead. death might come to you, but how may you greet it? those of the werewolves or ones on the path of kishin may believe the shinigami to be full of themselves, to believe that they have the right and audacity to play god. they wage their war for their freedom, and not be held down by the laws of shibusen.

and for this, anarchy will reign.
